Aurora Parks Cleanup Series

We will be cleaning up Apache Mesa Park in Aurora Colorado Next! Gloves, trash bags, dog bags, sanitizer, and Disinfectant wipes will be provided by the National Dog Rescue Network and End Aurora BSL.

About This Year’s Event

End Aurora BSL believes that responsible dog ownership should apply to ALL dogs, regardless of breed. We feel the ordinance passed by Aurora city council without a vote in 2005 was irresponsible legislation, and that a follow-up ballot question to Aurora Citizens in 2013 was designed to fail.

Whether you support the right to own one of the many breeds called “pit bull” or not, what we can all agree on is that people in Aurora still have these breeds of dog 15 years later, and that responsible legislation means giving these owners the ability to train, socialize, insure, and get medical care for these dogs.
